Introducing Anna Morris! An "Entrepreneur, Virtual Work Innovator, Strategic Communicator, and an Idea Champion".

Anna is also a mother and used her caregiving skills to become the incredibly innovative founder of Restcu.

What makes you feel most beautiful?

"I am my biggest critic, and don't feel beautiful often. If I were to pick a time when I do feel good, I would say it would have to be after praying to God. I try to pick a time to pray every day. After praying, pouring my heart out, giving thanks for all God's blessing, I feel whole again.

It's cathartic! I am at my most vulnerable, raw, and most natural place during prayers. I cannot help but be so thankful to God, and with that, I feel strong and beautiful!"

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

"Almost 20 years ago, I created the world's first Virtual Concierge in the Hospitality Industry. I was a young mother with my second child, doing an 80-mile commute to work in Silicon Valley. As a chief concierge for a major hotel, I was desperate to find that work-life balance solution.

In leveraging the use of video conferencing technology, I created a way to deliver concierge services to the hotel's lobby while remaining at him. I was an early adopter as it was much before the days of Skype, Facetime, and Zoom. I created the methodology behind the service and made the Virtual Concierge a proof of concept.

Today, video applications are ubiquitous, and I am proud to know I helped pave the pathways for virtual innovations and work-life balance solutions for all. Fast forward to 2019, and I have come full circle. After moving my mom in with me when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, I became a full-time caregiver.

Being a part of a new sandwich generation, I'm a caregiver to my mom and have our young daughter at home and my husband. Once again, I'm trying to find my footing and balance. In this world of caregiving 24/7, while trying to be the best mom and wife to my family as well.

As the saying goes, "Necessity is the Mother of all Invention." I have figured out a way to help other caregivers like me with my latest endeavor nearest to my heart, Restcu, to the rescue! Restcu cares for the caregiver with a curated concierge service at a caregiver's time of need."
