Can you tell us about yourself and your accomplishments!

I am an author, entrepreneur, and workshop leader with a passion for helping people to reach their full potential. I am the author of Vekita Full Potential, a step-by-step career clarity guidebook designed for the modern professional. I am also the founder of Vekita, a professional development company, and GROWmyfuture.org, a nonprofit that builds curricula for high school students to design their futures. For over a decade, I’ve led talent optimization workshops for Fortune 500 companies such as LinkedIn, lectured at universities including U.C. Berkeley Haas School of Business, taught entrepreneurship internationally, and advised startups. Lastly, I contribute to Forbes on the topics of professional development and the future of work. I have accomplished all of this as a single mother driven by the desire to create an impact in our world.

When do you feel most beautiful?

I feel beautiful when I am able to slow down to connect to the world around me and submerge myself in its beauty. I also feel beautiful when I am draping my body in flattering clothing adorned with accents of shimmering earrings and rose-colored lipstick.
